Calvin E. Williams

Calvin E. Williams is president and chief executive officer of Construction Contracting Services Inc., Lansing, Illinois, and the 2023 Midwest* region vice chair of Associated Builders in Contractors. He is also an active member of the ABC Illinois Chapter.

Williams founded CCSI, a general contracting, construction consulting, and advisory firm that specializes in vertical construction, in 2010, and has years of project management and corporate estimating experience in a variety of commercial construction sectors. Previously, Williams was a project manager with Walsh Construction.

Williams chaired the committee on construction at the Illinois Black Chamber of Commerce from 2011 to 2018 and is chairman emeritus at the Love, Unity and Values Institute, a nonprofit whose mission is to inspire hope and empower underserved youth with economic opportunities while building resiliency and social-emotional competencies.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, a graduate degree in social work administration from the University of Illinois at Chicago and is currently completing his MBA at Purdue University in West Lafayette Indiana.
