Steve Klessig, vice president of architecture and engineering at Keller Inc., Kaukauna, Wisconsin, is the immediate past chair of the board of directors for Associated Builders and Contractors. Klessig served as the Midwest Region vice chair from 2015 to 2019, chair-elect in 2020 and is an active member of the ABC Wisconsin Chapter, of which Keller was a founding member.

In addition to his responsibilities at Keller, Klessig holds the ABC seat on Wisconsin’s Department of Workforce Development and Commercial Building Code Council and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Wisconsin Society of Architects. He also served on the board of directors of the Wisconsin Association of School Boards for 11 years and the Brillion Public School Board for 31 years.

Active in his community, Klessig sits on the board of directors for the Brillion Community Foundation, Brillion Junior Achievement and the Endries Family Foundation, and is a trustee of Zion United Methodist Church.

Klessig earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
