The Director of Education and Safety is responsible for the operation of all aspects of the association’s education and safety program, which include, but are not limited to, the operation of the Middle Tennessee trades academy, management education programs, safety programs, as well as the development of additional education programs for the association’s membership. Position serves under the President/CEO of the association and has one direct report. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone with a background in any level of education, with managerial experience, very organized and motivated. Areas of Responsibility Manage 18-24 construction apprenticeship instructors. Manage the Asst. Director of Education in the management, growth, and direction of the East Tennessee apprenticeship program. Oversee the efficient and effective operation of a Department of Labor curriculum approved apprenticeship education program developed by the National Center of Construction Education and Research (NCCER) and Mike Holt Electrical Curriculum Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, and the requirements of the NCCER, federal U.S. Veterans Administration, ...
