Since August 2021, Democrats have held a majority on the National Labor Relations Board. Together, this Democrat-led NLRB and General Counsel Jennifer Abruzzo have advanced radical changes to federal labor law and overturned many of the commonsense policies adopted during the Trump administration.

Maury Baskin will share his insights on the latest developments at the NLRB, with a particular focus on the pro-labor agenda of the NLRB general counsel, significant Board decisions and rulemakings.

Additionally, Baskin will discuss the uptick in union organizing and the preventative steps employers can take to mitigate the risk of union organizing as well as how to respond.

Maury Baskin serves as ABC’s general counsel and is a shareholder in the Washington, D.C., office of Littler Mendelson P.C., where he chairs Littler’s construction practice group and co-chairs Littler’s Workplace Policy Institute. He is one of the chief legal advocates for the rights of employers on labor issues throughout the country, representing ABC and its member firms at every level of government, up to and including the U.S. Supreme Court.
