Webinar Description

When it comes to local, state or federal prevailing wage, it’s critical to ensure the best ways to bid as a merit shop contractor so that all aspects of the project are compliant with the extensive regulatory requirements and that your certified payroll is “bulletproof” when an audit is completed.

Learn best practices around:

  • Key legislative and regulatory context—new legislation and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Davis-Bacon rule making
  • Fringe benefits—taking credit for bona fide benefits, annualization and maximizing fringe benefit obligations
  • Certified payroll—ensuring the accuracy of time-tracking, accounting for prevailing wage rates, classification of workers and more
