OSHA Adds Four New OTI Centers And Renews 24 Existing Centers

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Sept. 28 announced it added four new OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers in addition to renewing 24 existing centers. Among the renewed centers is the Mid-America OTI Education Center out of Springboro, Ohio, which is affiliated with the ABC Ohio Valley Chapter.

OTI educations centers offer training courses on OSHA standards and occupational safety and health issues. Applicant organizations were evaluated based on organizational and staff experience, location and training facilities, marketing and recruitment, administrative capabilities, evaluation, and the ability to provide training throughout a given region. The new OTI Education Centers are all non-profit organizations and will provide additional outlets for training to workers and employers throughout the country.
