Construction Executive Wins 2019 Gold Circle Award for Excellence in Association Communications

WASHINGTON, May 7—Construction Executive, the magazine for the business of construction, won an ASAE 2019 Gold Circle Award in the e-newsletter category for CE This Week. The customizable weekly newsletter was launched in 2018 along with a new constructionexec.com website to celebrate the magazine’s 15th anniversary as the leading source for news, market developments and business issues impacting the construction industry.

The Gold Circle Awards recognize excellence, innovation and achievement in association/nonprofit marketing, membership and communications programs. This year’s competition received a record-breaking 200 entries across 15 categories.

“We are so thrilled that CE This Week has been selected as a Gold Circle winner, adding to the 30 other industry awards we’ve earned during the past 15 years,” said Lauren Pinch, editor-in-chief of Construction Executive. “To receive this award after launching the product just last year is incredibly gratifying and speaks to the diligence of our entire team in making sure the newsletter was a success out of the gate.”

Construction Executive is designed to help contractors run a more profitable and productive construction business, covering hot-button issues such as workforce development, insurance, estimating, project management, safety and liability, technological advancements and legislative action,” said Michael Bellaman, president and CEO of Associated Builders and Contractors, which publishes Construction Executive. “ABC members and the industry at large read CE to grow their businesses and grow their people.”

Print subscriptions are free to industry professionals, and readers can access content via a digital edition, a mobile app or through social media, where the magazine has more than 50,000 followers.

Entries for the Gold Circle Awards competition are judged consistently in each category based on criteria established by the ASAE Gold Circle Award Committee. Award winners will be celebrated at the 2019 ASAE Marketing, Membership & Communications Conference June 6-7, where the recipient of the Overall Excellence Award also will be announced.
