ABC members that attend BizCon, Feb. 19-20 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., will gain insights from high-level executives at national companies, including WaMart, Dow, Balfour Beatty, and Cushman & Wakefield/Commerce, among others.

ABC, in conjunction with the Coalition for Workplace Safety, filed comments with OSHA opposing a proposed rule that will change how the agency will operate its On-site Consultation Program for all worksites, including those that have Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program status.  ABC also filed its own set of comments focusing on the direct impact this proposed rule would have on the construction industry.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) are requesting comments from the construction industry about the potential use of government-mandated project labor agreements (PLAs) on large-scale federal projects in Washington, Maryland, Kentucky and Minnesota.
