ABC has made some changes to its meeting schedule in an effort to provide more value for attendees. The Meetings Transformation Taskforce set goals to provide more affordable accommodations, keep registration costs in check and reduce the number of meetings overall for next year and moving forward.

Below is the 2015 schedule of ABC National meetings so members can mark their calendars:

The Workforce Development Conference: Fort Lauderdale, Fla., March 1-6, 2015
In 2015, the Workforce Development Conference will be held March 1-6, 2015 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. in the spring along with the first board meeting, the National Craft Championships, the Excellence in Construction Awards, chapter and membership awards, and education and professional development opportunities for members and chapter staff. In 2016, the conference will be held Feb. 28-March 3 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

The Legislative Conference: Washington, D.C., June 22-25, 2015
In 2015, the Legislative Conference will be held in the summer June 22-25, 2015 along with the second board meeting, an ABC day on Capitol Hill, and receptions for the Political Action Committee and Free Enterprise Alliance. The 2016 conference will be held June 19-22 in Washington, D.C.

The Leadership Conference: Fall 2015
Formerly the ABC Institute for Leadership and Professional Development, the 2015 Leadership Conference will be held in the fall along with the third board meeting and include the Leadership Conference for Volunteer Leaders and Presidents, the construction management competition, a college career fair and volunteer awards. It also will include BizCon, which previously was a standalone meeting, and a new Peer Group Conference. The Attorney’s Conference will take place at the same time and location as this event whenever possible given the legal and regulatory agenda. Dates and locations for these conferences are to be determined.
