ABC is transforming its EdCon & Expo into the 21st Century Workforce Development Conference, which will be held April 30-May 3, 2013, at the Birmingham Jefferson Convention Center. 

The 21st Century Workforce Development Conference includes ABC’s National Craft Championships, featuring apprentices from across the country competing in 11 construction crafts; ABC’s Student Chapter Construction Management Competition, with teams of college and university students testing their project management, estimating and presentation skills; and two-and-a-half day educational academies geared toward green building, human resources, jobsite management, safety and workforce development professionals. 

The National Craft Championships is currently seeking competitors from ABC chapter training programs, ABC members firms and ABC-approved training programs. The intent-to-compete registration deadline is Dec. 7, 2012. For more information, visit the National Craft Championships website.
