For the 20th consecutive year, TDIndustries has been named on Fortune magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work For®” list. Ranked number 44, TDIndustries jumped 21 spots from its 2016 placement. The list is based on employee ratings of their workplace culture, including the level of trust they feel towards leaders, the pride they take in their jobs and the camaraderie they experience with co-workers. ABC member PCL Construction was also among the four commercial and industrial contractors who made the list. To identify the 100 Best Companies to Work For®, each year Fortune partners with Great Place to Work to conduct the most extensive employee survey in corporate America. The ranking is based on feedback from more than 276,000 employees at Great Place to Work–Certified™ companies with more than 1,000 employees. TDIndustries is an active ABC member and an Accredited Quality Contractor (AQC). The AQC program recognizes and honors construction firms that document their commitment to excellence in five key areas of corporate responsibility: quality, safety, employee benefits, training and community relations. TDIndustries has been an AQC member since 1998. The company also earned multiple honors during ABC's Workforce Week '17 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., including a Pyramid Award at the 27th annual Excellence in Construction® Awards for its work on the One Frost project in San Antonio. In addition, TDIndustries National Craft Championships competitors Joel Dutton and Jordan Ray McPherson took home the gold and bronze medals respectively in the pipefitting competition.
