House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) Oct. 11 announced that ABC member and Oklahoma small businessman Markwayne Mullin will deliver the Weekly Republican Address on Saturday, Oct. 13.

“We are excited to hear that Speaker Boehner, a small businessman himself, has selected Mullin, a successful business owner, entrepreneur and ABC member, to give this important address to the nation,” said ABC Director of Political Affairs Chris Singerling. “Washington needs leaders that know what it’s like to create jobs, meet a payroll, and sign the front of a paycheck.”

Mullin, owner of Mullin Plumbing, Inc., Broken Arrow, Okla., and a member of ABC’s Oklahoma Chapter, is running for retiring Rep. Dan Boren’s (D-Okla.) seat in the U.S. House of Representatives for Oklahoma’s Second Congressional District. Oklahoma’s 2nd District includes all or part of 24 eastern Oklahoma counties.
