ABC congratulated its member companies that were awarded top honors for the Construction Users Roundtable’s (CURT) Construction Industry Safety Excellence (CISE) Awards and Workforce Development Awards at CURT’s Nov. 12 national conference in Tucson, Ariz. 

ABC members that were recognized for their exemplary safety performance by winning the CURT CISE Constructor Safety Awards include: 

• B L Harbert International, LLC, in the NAICS 236 General Building Contractors Category;
• Cianbro Constructors, in the NAICS 237 Heavy Construction Category; 
• Mobley Industrial Services, Inc., in the NAICS 238 Special Trade Contractors Category;
• PCL Industrial Construction Co., in the NAICS 237 Heavy Construction Category;
• STARCON International, Inc., in the NAICS 238 Special Trade Contractors Category; and
• URS, in the NAICS 237 Heavy Construction Category.

In addition, ABC members and partners were recognized with the CURT Workforce Development Awards, which highlights innovative training and education programs. Winners were:

• Performance Contractors “Workforce Development Built” program;
• Craft Training Center of Coastal Bend; and
• NCCER’s National Craft Assessment and Certification Program (NCACP).
