ABC is seeking volunteers with recognized experience and expertise in a craft to judge the 2014 National Craft Championships on May 1 in Birmingham, Ala. ABC members who are interested in participating should submit a judge’s form, found on the NCC website, to [email protected] indicating which craft competitions they would like to judge.
 
Judges are still needed for the following crafts:

• HVAC
• Instrumentation Fitting
• Insulation
• Millwright/Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
• Pipefitting
• Plumbing

The competition judges will be onsite in Birmingham, Ala. May 1 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. as the craft trainees and apprentices from across the country demonstrate their skills, training and safe work practices in a hands-on practical performance test.

In addition, the judges are also invited to the Careers in Construction Awards ceremony on the morning of Friday, May 2 which will honor the top winners in each competition.
