The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) have issued three surveys soliciting comments from the construction industry on the potential use of project labor agreements (PLA) on projects in California and Texas.

For the Spinal Cord Injury and Community Living Center project in San Diego, Calif., the VA is requesting that surveys be completed by May 11 and sent to Noella Bond at [email protected]. More information on the project is available here.

The second survey, issued by the USACE Fort Worth district, is for the 1st Calvary Headquarters at Fort Hood, Texas. Responses are due by May 12 no later than 4:30 pm (CT) and can be sent to Robert M. Duran at [email protected]. To read more about the design-build project, click here.

The USACE also issued a survey for the Construct Oxbow Valley Storage Sites A&C - Central City Project in Fort Worth, Texas. All survey responses must be completed and sent to Kevin Anderson at [email protected] by June 22 at 2:00 p.m. (CT)

ABC National has taken the opportunity to respond to all PLA surveys as they are issued and encourages its members to do the same. For assistance with responding to the survey, contact ABC’s Director of Federal Procurement and Labor Affairs Ben Brubeck, [email protected].
