Superstorm Sandy caused billions of dollars in damage to property, infrastructure and lost business. During the Dec. 17 Superstorm Sandy Reconstruction Summit in Trenton, N.J., attendees will learn more about what is being done to alleviate the damage. The all-day summit will feature local, state and national government, business and nonprofit decision-makers providing the latest information on: damage assessments; continuing relief operations, including emergency housing assistance; reconstruction programs and priorities, including new construction for housing, businesses, roads and bridges; infrastructure reconstruction, including energy and water/wastewater; and financing and support for small business development. The summit also will include an exhibition of companies with reconstruction solutions. Register by Dec. 7 to take advantage of the $175 early bird rate. Registration for a webcast featuring live streaming coverage of the event and speakers is $100. Government officials at all levels, military officials, relief agencies, small businesses affected by Superstorm Sandy and the news media can register for free.
