The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is requesting comments from the construction industry about the potential use of government-mandated project labor agreements (PLAs) on large-scale federal projects in Alaska, Massachusetts and West Virginia. The USACE issued a PLA survey for a design-build project in Fort Wainwright, Alaska. To view the PLA survey, click here. Responses should be sent via email to Donna West at [email protected] no later than April 30. A PLA survey was also issued by the USACE for a large-scale construction project in New Bedford, Mass. Comments should be sent to Raushanah Muhammad at [email protected] by April 23. The survey request for this project can be found here. Finally, the USACE is soliciting comments on a project for an advanced training center in Harpers Ferry, W.Va. Responses can be sent to Kevin Cook at [email protected] no later than 1 p.m. on April 17. Click here for more information.
