The early-bird deadline to register for an Academy at ABC’s 21st Century Workforce Development Conference is this Friday, April 5. ABC members can save $100 by registering before the deadline. This year’s conference is taking place in Birmingham, Ala., April 30-May 3.

By attending one of the seven Academies during the conference, participants can earn Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) and return to the office with tools to improve on-the-job performance.

Academies offered are:

• Basics of Project Management Academy*
• Foreman Academy*
• National Electrical Code (NEC) & UL White Book Academy
• Financial Management Academy
• Human Resources Academy
• Construction Education Professionals Academy
• STEP - Plus Safety Excellence Academy

In addition, the 21st Workforce Development Conference features the National Craft Championships—a two-day competition that showcases 13 construction crafts—and the Student Chapter Construction Management Competition. ABC member companies also will have the opportunity to interview the students for internships or permanent positions.
