This October, two Iowa residents needing full-time care will have a new place to call home thanks for the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC)
Iowa chapter and the Habitat for Humanity of Central Iowa.
The two receiving the house, both quadriplegics, will be welcomed into their new home featuring a large kitchen space, living room, bedrooms and bathrooms that have enough space to get around without any difficulty.
While the home built through Habitat for Humanity does not come free for its residents, ABC of Iowa donated the labor and materials for the project which helps with the overall cost.
