The staff of
Bouchard Insurance not only focuses on providing commercial insurance and surety bonding, but also on improving the lives of local children. The Florida-based company recently donated more than $1,200 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Pinellas County. But that generous donation was only a small part of Bouchard’s relationship with the nonprofit organization. Five members of Bouchard’s staff also recently participated in a Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraiser, “Bowling for Kids’ Sake,” in Clearwater, Fla.
“We are honored to work with our nonprofit clients and happy to contribute to their fundraising efforts whenever possible,” says Doug Bishop, CEO of Bouchard Insurance. “We are so proud of our employees who are dedicated to being Big Brothers and Big Sisters to those in need in Pinellas County.”
Eight employees serve as Big Brothers and Big Sisters for the Pinellas County Chapter of the organization, an experience they describe as extremely gratifying.
“Time spent with my little sister Laura is one of the highlights of my week. I may be getting even more out of our visits than she is,” says Vicki Tims, account manager for Bouchard.
