Pacific Region vice chair
Greg Schniegenberg, vice president of Helix Electric, Oakland, California, is the Pacific* region vice chair of Associated Builders and Contractors. He is an active member of the ABC NorCal Chapter, where he previously served as chair of the board of directors for two years in addition to numerous other chapter leadership roles.
Schniegenberg has more than 25 years of construction industry experience, beginning his career with Helix Electric as a project engineer in 2000. Following stints in a variety of roles, from project manager, to director of business development, to operations manager, he was promoted to vice president in 2016. In his role as vice president, Schniegenberg oversees and manages Helix’s Oakland office, private and commercial work, as well as the company’s Fremont, California, warehouse and prefabrication departments. He has been integral in creating the Helix internship program, which provides on-the-job experience for top construction management students from universities nationwide.
Throughout his career, Schniegenberg has been involved with numerous community organizations, including coaching little league as well as being a founding member of the Morgan Amelia Foundation, which works to provide financial assistance to families with children diagnosed with Dravet Syndrome.
Schiegenberg earned a Bachelor of Science in construction management from the University of Cincinnati.
