Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Tradesmen International, the construction industry’s premier source for craft professionals and labor-related services which will help contractors maximize productivity per dollar of labor. The agreement became effective May 1 during ABC’s 28th annual National Craft Championships in Birmingham, Ala., which Tradesmen International sponsored. “This partnership with Tradesmen International gives ABC members access to a trusted industry source that can help provide needed skilled craftsmen and help improve workforce productivity while maintaining the highest safety standards,” said ABC President and CEO Michael Bellaman. “We are excited to formalize this partnership with Tradesmen International, which will help our members enhance their workforce and increase profitability.” As part of the partnership, ABC members will have access to Tradesmen International’s Total Labor Support ® services - including Labor Productivity Consulting, Staffing and OSHA Safety Training - to help them maximize labor productivity and take full control over labor-related costs. Tradesmen International’s team brings over two decades of experience and a network of nearly 100 local offices across North America. Tradesmen International has been a longtime supporter of ABC and the merit shop construction sector, is a member of more than 50 ABC chapters and has been the exclusive sponsor of ABC’s Craft Professional of the Year award for more than a decade. Under the new strategic partnership agreement, Tradesmen International will serve as ABC’s workforce productivity partner and will have the ability to strengthen its relationships with nearly 21,000 ABC member companies.
