The Department of Labor Sept. 28 announced it is implementing an electronic filing system for the H-2B visa program through the iCERT Visa Portal System. The new system includes a web-based tool that will allow for online account management; automated data quality and integrity checks; elimination of paper-based submissions; and emailed customer notifications and correspondence. The new electronic filing system will begin for the H-2B program on Oct. 15. There also will be four webinars conducted to train the public on the new system.
