ABC members and chapter staff interested in participating in ABC’s 2014 Legislative Conference June 11 in Washington, D.C., have until Friday, May 16 to take advantage of the early bird registration rates and the discounted hotel price. By registering for the conference, attendees will have access to the Legislative Update Breakfast and a day on Capitol Hill meeting with members of Congress.

In addition, ABC members and industry professionals taking part in the conference can join the separately ticketed Free Enterprise Alliance Reception on Tuesday, June 10 where Dr. Ben Carson will be the keynote speaker.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their young professionals and front-line employees and show legislators the collective voice of the merit shop and what’s best for the industry. See what special offers and events are available during the conference.

In preparation for the conference, ABC’s Vice President of Government Affairs, Geoff Burr, is holding a free webinar May 20 at 3:30 p.m. (ET) to give 2014 Legislative Conference attendees an overview of how to effectively lobby representatives on Capitol Hill and a look at ABC’s priority issues.

After Friday, May 16, the registration rates will increase. The booking cut-off for the discounted hotel rate also ends May 16.
