Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) will be joining us as the keynote speaker at the Free Enterprise Alliance Reception June 23 during Legislative Week. Sen. Ernst, elected in November 2014, is the first woman to serve in federal elected office from the State of Iowa and the first female combat veteran elected to serve in the United States Senate. Join us June 23 as we hear from Sen. Ernst and her thoughts on today’s political environment as it relates to ABC, the construction industry and the merit shop.

The Free Enterprise Alliance Reception is a separately ticketed event and will take place at the Hyatt Regency Washington hotel on Tuesday, June 23. 

In addition to the Free Enterprise Alliance Reception, Legislative Week will welcome ABC members and construction professionals from across the country with a breakfast presentation June 25 offering the opportunity to hear from dynamic speakers knowledgeable about issues important to followed by a Day on the Hill speaking to members of congress with your chapter. Attendees are also welcome to join ABC for a reception Thursday evening on ABC’s office rooftop.

Members are also invited to attend the first annual Diversity and Inclusion Summit which will take place June 23 and bring together industry leaders and key stakeholders who understand the value of diversity in construction and who want to network and learn from other like-minded companies and individuals.
